Hiding and Restoring Menus

Showing and Hiding the Menu Ribbon

At times, it may be helpful to hide the menus to give more screen area to work with the design. By selecting the Ribbon Display Options arrow (shown below beside the red arrow), several options are available.

Full-screen mode hides all the menus, giving maximum area for designing. To restore the menus temporarily, click the three dots in the upper right corner as shown below. The menus will be available until another area of the window (outside the menus) is clicked.

To exit out of full-screen mode and restore the full menu ribbon or tabs-only, first exit the window maximize mode, then the Ribbon Display Options will be available.

Note that if no design window is open, the full menu does not show, only File, Home, Window and Help are available as shown below:
