Working in the Assembly Tree

Icons in Section Assembly Warp and Weft

Tabs across the top indicate a choice of warp or weft assembly. Also.Warp Color and Weft Color tabs are available if color is to be assembled, and not inherited from the section color.

The leftmost color is a refresh button. This button causes order numbers to be recalculated, allowing more space to add or move groups if necessary. Also the number of threads and length is recalculated.

Add section caused the selected section to be added in the selected area of the Assembly tree.

Click first within the Assembly tree to select the parent level, then use this Add Group button to start a new group.

Copy and Paste selection (see Copying and Paste for Groups) are only available to click if the cursor is in the Assembly Tree (below the available sections).

Scroll bars are used for long entries:

Groups can be collapse or expanded by clicking the little mark on the left:

Adjusting the Divider between Available Sections and Assembly Tree

The divider between the Available Sections and the Assembly Tree can be dragged up or down. It's often useful to drag the divider up over the available sections to add more working space in the Assembly Tree.

Reordering Groups in the Assembly Tree

Before Reordering Groups

In the above example, the outermost group is dark blue and has no Order number. This is the root node. No other groups may be defined at the same level.

The next level is shown in a lighter bluish grey with an Order of 10. There are two other groups at the same level (color is the same) and have Order values of 20 and 30.

To move the order that a group appears within the Assembly Tree, change the Order number.

For example, if the second group with the light bluish grey should be first (the Group that contains the Advancing section), change the order value from 20 to a value such as 5.

After changing the order value, the tree is immediately reordered as shown below. Also note that the order numbers are recalculated.
