Yarn Attributes

The following screenshot shows the Yarn Attribute Editor for Lofty 8/2 Cotton. These attributes can be maintained by the weaver in MyYarns, and will be filled in automatically in the TempoWeave provided yarns.

Currently the Edit yarns is only available for the My Yarns. In the next release of TempoWeave, there will be a view function for the commercially deployed yarns.

The yarn attributes are accessed by right clicking on the yarn line or color entry.

The green button, "Update YarnLine" is available on the attributes for the header to make it easier to put all changes, with the exception of Color Attributes, in all the color entries.

Images of Yarn

Images may be uploaded (see right side of the Yarn Editor panel. As shown below, a Swatch for a variegated yarn has been entered in the color record.

Other entries in the Lofty Wool yarn have images of the yarn on cones.

In future releases, pictures will be added for other yarns in the Yarn Database. Also in future releases of TempoWeave, these attributes will be used in new features, such as suggesting SETT values when using yarns in a project.
