Check the box for right and/or left floating selvedges. Also, if the double box is checked, two floating selvedges will be assumed for yardage calculations.
In the draft, a thin box will be drawn around the rightmost and/or leftmost warp thread as a reminder that a floating selvedge has been specified for this draft.

In the draft, a thin box will be drawn around the rightmost and/or leftmost thread if a floating selvage has been checked for the project:

A reminder, in red text, is also printed on the Warp Winding plan that Floating Selvedges are to be used with the project. The floating selvages are not included in the warp winding plan, as sometimes the weaver will want to include the floating selvedges in the warp chain, and sometimes the floating selvage will be added after dressing the loom.

The warp yardage calculations are increased for the floating selvedges. The color of the rightmost warp end is assumed for the right floating selvedge, and the color of the leftmost thread for the left floating selvedge.
