# Ways to Repeat Large Sections of a Draft

Section Assembly can be used generate a new draft with repeats of marked areas of the threading and treadling.

Another way to repeat areas of threading and treadling to create a larger draft is with the view function.  When viewing there is a Repeat to Fill option that allows viewing as-if the draft is repeated multiple time to fill the screen by using the zoom function.  An option allows converting that view to actual threads in the warp and weft.

Select, Copy and Paste allow copying selected areas and pasting multiple times by either clicking paste repeatedly, or using the Design Repeats function in the Repeats group on the design menu.

Scaling is a different type of repeat.  Instead of repeating a group of threads multiple times, this function allows repeating individual threads multiple times.

Scaling is usually used on block designs to scale the graphic size up or down by repeating warp and/or weft threads.  Scale is in the repeat group and can be used on a selected area or the entire draft.  The Scaling function is usually used with Profile Drafts or Design Lines that will be used in network drafting.
