The same version ships on iPad, iPhone, and Android. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.1018.1 Open drafts straight from other apps, AirDrop included; Weave Assistant beeps now sound with your phone or tablet on Silent; editing a yarn asks before it changes your threads' thickness; and sinking-shed drafts print the way they look on screen. ### Opening drafts * **Open drafts from other apps.** TempoWeave Mobile now opens .twa and .wif drafts handed to it by other apps like the Files app or Email. On iPhone and iPad, AirDrop a draft from TempoWeave Studio on your Mac and choose TempoWeave, or tap a draft attachment in Mail or Messages, or a draft in the Files app, and choose TempoWeave. On Android, choose TempoWeave under "Open with". The draft opens as a new tab; Save puts it in your library. TempoWeave is the home app for .twa files; for .wif, which other weaving programs share, it is offered alongside them. ### Weave Assistant * **Beeps sound even on Silent.** The OK beep, the error beep, the color-change chime and the other cues now play with an iPhone or iPad on Silent, and with an Android device on Silent, Vibrate or Do Not Disturb. Before, Silent turned them all off, so at the loom there was no beep and no clue why. Music you are playing keeps playing. The switches under Sounds in Settings, and your volume buttons, still control every beep. ### Yarns * **Editing a yarn keeps each thread's own thickness.** Saving a palette yarn used to copy its thickness onto every thread that uses it, even if you only renamed it. Now an unchanged thickness never touches the threads. If you do change it, TempoWeave asks whether the threads that use the yarn should take the new thickness or keep their own, and the whole edit is one Undo step. ### Fixes * **Sinking-shed drafts print the way they look on screen.** The printed drawdown showed every sinking-shed draft as if it were rising shed. * **iPhone and iPad: a network-change crash fixed.** On Macs, TempoWeave could quit when the network changed. The mobile app no longer listens for network changes in that way; quiet saves while offline still work. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.1012.1 A treadle that drops along with the one you press is no longer called wrong, the MyCloud messages say what they mean, and pixeLoom files open. ### Weave Assistant * **Treadles that drop together are not errors.** A treadle the draft uses that comes down with the one you press, because it is tied to some of the same shafts, no longer beeps and shows green on the overlay. A treadle the draft never uses still beeps whenever it is pressed, with the message "treadle N is not in this draft": untie it, or set it to Off in Treadle Mapping. A treadle that lifts a shaft the pick does not want is still wrong. ### MyCloud * **The messages say what they know.** Saving a draft that is also in MyCloud now says so, by its MyCloud name, and asks whether to update that copy too. When both this copy and MyCloud have changed since they were last in sync, the question at save time says exactly that, with both dates, and what Overwrite and Save as Copy do. ### Fixes * **WIF files with labels or color names after a semicolon open.** pixeLoom writes its thread and pick labels and its color names that way; a labelled color used to abort the whole load silently. The labels are now ignored and every value loads. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.1011.1 Browse Drafts and Cloud one tap away, Weave Assistant improvements, and ten new languages with every corner of the screen translated. ### Browse and Cloud * **Browse Drafts is the home screen.** With no draft open it is what you see, with an **Open File…** button beside New Draft and no close button, so there is no longer an empty editor to land on. The "Open Browse Drafts on launch" setting is gone because it no longer had a job. * **One tap to Browse and Cloud.** A folder button on the top bar opens Browse Drafts, and a **Cloud** chip between View and Help opens a panel with your account, MyCloud and sharing. Both stay in the ≡ menu too. On a phone the top bar's icons sit a little closer so nothing scrolls off. ### Weave Assistant * **Device type: Manual.** The device list starts with Manual (no device), now the default for new installs: advance with Next or a tap, with no connection panel or Connect chip in the way. Existing installs keep the device they had. * **Switching between Weaving and Unweave leaves the pick marker where it is.** Turn on **Mode switch moves the pick marker** in Options if you preferred the jump. (Thanks to Matthew C for all the suggestions!) * **A treadle mapping for the loom.** Set it once for your device and every draft uses it; a draft can still carry its own. * **Same shed, said so.** When consecutive picks lift the same shafts, a distinct cue plays and the overlay shows "Same shed 1 of 2". On a TempoTreadle table loom a repeated shed advances when any one lever goes down and up again. * **Every unexpected treadle beeps.** On a floor loom a wrong treadle pressed alongside the right one is called out even when its shafts were already lifted. * **Reset Progress** in the Project tile starts the same draft again from pick 1, after a confirmation. * **Indicator Colors.** Choose the needed, correct and wrong colors per device: a Default preset, a Colorblind-safe preset, or your own. Cells also carry a check or a cross. * **A large weft swatch**, bigger than the treadle cells; tap it for the yarn's name. The mode menu's rows are taller for fingers, and each mode shows a short tip. * **Warn of upcoming color change.** Off by default, under the Color-change chime in the Sound card: two rising tones one pick before the weft changes, so the other shuttle is in your hand before your foot moves to the next treadle. * **Pause mode.** Beside Free Weave on the mode pill: the loom is not judged and nothing beeps, and a shed, a tap, Next and Back move and count nothing, so the marker, the counters and the woven length stay put while you fix a shed or step away. Tap the gray pill to resume. * **Record feature visible when it applies**, only while a TempoTreadle is selected and connected. ### Languages * **Ten new languages.** Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Polish, Russian, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal) and Norwegian join the languages; pick one in Settings. These first versions were drafted for native weavers to tune, so tell us what reads wrong. * **The whole screen is translated.** Panel titles, section headings and status lines that had stayed English follow your language now, and long labels on the phone's dock shrink to fit instead of clipping. ### MyCloud * **Saving while offline stays quiet.** When the app already knows MyCloud cannot be reached, for example at a loom with no connection, saving no longer asks about the cloud copy; the draft saves on this device and the cloud copy catches up on the next connected save. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.1004.1 Connect from the top bar, a View Fabric whose options fold away, Finnish, Isolate Shafts in the Treadle Expander, and licensing through the TempoWeave cloud service. ### View Fabric * **The options fold away.** Under Front and Back, one Options row shows what is on; tap it to open the checkboxes and tap again to fold them, so the cloth has the screen. It starts folded on a phone and open on a tablet, and remembers your choice. * **Zoom out to 3%.** Below 10% the zoom steps one percent at a time, as on desktop, so a long cloth can be eased down to fit. The size readout no longer runs under the zoom buttons. ### Weave Assistant * **Connect in the top bar.** A Connect chip sits in the Weave Assistant's top bar, so linking a TempoTreadle is one tap instead of a trip into the settings panel. The dot shows the state: gray, amber while connecting, green when linked. With a saved address it connects at once; with none it offers Find my TempoTreadle or Enter address. While connected, a tap shows Disconnect and Settings. If a connection attempt is still going after two seconds, a note offers the settings. A **Show Connect button** setting hides the chip. Nothing connects on its own when the Weave Assistant opens. ### Treadle Expander * **Isolate Shafts.** Move a set of shafts (say, a folded double cloth's top layer) to a new treadle at the far left and press two light treadles instead of one heavy one. The box suggests the best set from your tie-up, and the cloth is unchanged. ### Licensing * **Activation goes through the TempoWeave cloud service.** Signing in with a subscription is handled by our server, which talks to the store on your behalf; the app carries no store credential. App Store purchases are unchanged. ### Languages * **Finnish.** Suomi joins the languages, a first translation that is being reviewed by native weavers. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.930.1 Where a draft lives, and a Weave Assistant that watches your length. A draft is either a file on this device, a draft in MyCloud, or both, and the app now says which, keeps both names in view, and never pretends a working copy is a file of yours. The Weave Assistant shows the woven length on the treadle overlay and gains a Density Calculator and a Length alert; the Thread Assistant can mark with a tap anywhere; Add Tabby gains a yarn choice. ### MyCloud * **Save As makes another draft.** The new file is not connected to MyCloud and the original stays connected, so a renamed draft reaches MyCloud under its own name. Tap the current tab and choose Save a copy to this device to keep a MyCloud draft's copy connected. * **Both names, always.** Tap the current tab to see the file name and, when it differs, the name the draft has in MyCloud, with a button to Rename in MyCloud to match this file. Nothing is renamed on its own. * **Browse Drafts shows one row per draft.** A file connected to a MyCloud draft is one row, badged On Device · MyCloud, not a device row and a cloud row. Deleting it removes only the file and says the MyCloud copy stays. * **Share on a draft already in MyCloud shares that draft.** Your latest save goes up first, then the code points at the existing draft. It used to upload a second copy. * **One question when MyCloud is newer:** Save as Copy, Overwrite, or Cancel, the same as on desktop. Loom progress from the other device is carried into an overwrite. * **A deleted MyCloud draft says so** instead of reporting MyCloud as unreachable on every save. * **My Cloud gets Edit Details** (name, description, tags) and asks before deleting a draft. MyCloud names must work as file names on every platform. * **Save As through the Files picker keeps working on the new file.** The next Save wrote the old file, and a Save on a picker-opened draft could send MyCloud the copy from when it was opened rather than what you just saved. Both fixed. * **A draft opened by share code behaves like any MyCloud draft,** and when MyCloud cannot be reached the message says your changes stay in this tab. * **A .wif and a .twa with the same name are one draft.** Browse Drafts lists the pair once, dated by whichever was written last, and Open loads that one. ### Weave Assistant * **Density Calculator.** The Woven Length card's Length Calculator is now the Density Calculator, its button says Calculate, and a new Clear button forgets the measurement so the calculated density goes back to a dash until you calculate again. * **Length alert.** Set a length under the Density Calculator and, when the woven length reaches it, four short tones sound and a note appears on the treadle overlay. Saved with the draft; its own row in the Sound card. * **Woven length on the treadle overlay,** at the top in both sizes: the length at your calculated density once you have measured, otherwise the theoretical length, shown with ≈. ### Tools * **Add Tabby gains a Tabby Yarn choice,** as on desktop: Adjacent weft color (the default) or Select → a color from your Active palette and the draft's palette. Before, the tabby silently took the palette strip's selected color, or white. ### Thread Assistant * **Tap anywhere to mark threads.** In Settings, Foot Pedal, turn it on and a tap on the group display marks the group, the same as MARK THREADS. Off by default, like the Weave Assistant's Tap anywhere for Next. ### Fixes * **Thread Assistant: groups of up to 16 ends.** The group size stopped at 8 even though the counter went higher. * **The Weave Assistant's section tint is translucent again.** 26.927.1 painted the active section's rows in a solid color, so dark lift squares were hard to see inside a dark section. It is now the same light tint as the drawdown's section bands and as desktop. * **Changing shafts or treadles in Project Info takes effect at once.** The Weave Assistant kept the old count until the draft was saved and reopened. Reducing the count now also clears threading, tie-up, treadling, and liftplan entries above it, as on desktop. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.927.1 Weave Assistant records what you weave and gets a simpler toolbar, the Thread Assistant learns where you sit at the loom, Ukrainian joins the languages, every draft tab says where it lives, and a mobile save bug that could lose a MyCloud edit is fixed. ### Weave Assistant * **Record what you weave.** With a TempoTreadle connected, set the Mode to **Record** and every shed you close becomes a pick in the treadling. The marker follows, the cloth preview and drawdown build as you go. When you start, choose whether the picks are added to the end of this draft, inserted at the current pick, or go into a new draft. Each recording session is marked as its own section, Recording 1, Recording 2, and so on. Tap the weft color disk while recording to change color; Back removes the last recorded pick. For Table Looms, you must set the levers and tap for each pick (that's how we know you've completed the transition from one pick to the next). * **Clarified the weaving mode.** Prev, Next, Back Up and the Forward/Reverse toggle are now Back and Next, plus a Mode pill that is always one of Weaving, Free Weave, Record, or Unweave. Next means "that pick is woven, move on" and does exactly what the TempoTreadle does; Back takes back the last one. Unweave is the old Reverse. Tap the pill to switch, or tap it in any special mode to return to Weaving. * **Woven Length card.** A Recalculate button locks the calculated density at that moment instead of letting it drift with every pick. Calculated density sits under Project density, a Length at calculated density line sits under Theoretical length, Pick Counter 1 sits above Pick Counter 2, and the Repeat Counter moves to the bottom under its own separator. * **Loom settings travel with the draft.** The dobby type, the TempoTreadle loom type (Multi-Treadle, Single, or Table Loom) and the TempoTreadle address are saved in the draft and restored when you open it. The address is also remembered app-wide, so a new draft does not ask for it again. * **Treadles the loom does not have are hidden by default.** The Single loom type no longer says Countermarch. * **Next and Last previews stay inside the section** you are weaving, wrapping from the section's last pick to its first, and the section you are in is tinted in the assistant. * **Show section markers** in Settings hides or shows the tinted section bands on the warp and weft headers. * **Free Weave on a table loom** counts every tap; it used to count only a lever set that matched the expected pick. Messages from the assistant now appear inside the assistant. * **TempoTreadle reconnects.** If the box drops off the network, the app keeps trying for up to ten minutes; a box that reports it is busy is retried instead of ending the session; Connect and Disconnect stop any reconnect first. ### Thread Assistant * **At the loom.** The assistant asks where you sit, front or back of the loom, which way you thread, and which side thread 1 is on, and shows the threads in the order they sit in front of you. Threading from the back turns the preview and its shaft numbers around. Saved with the draft. * **Thread from the center outward.** One switch: thread to one selvedge, and the assistant brings you back to the thread beside the center for the other half, direction reversed. * **Restart at thread.** Found a mistake a hundred threads back? Restart at that thread: earlier marks stay, the rest clear, and you carry on from there. * **Sound card with vibrate**, extra floating selvedge discs, and yarn names on the discs when there is room. ### Drafts and MyCloud * **Draft Location.** Each tab now carries a small glyph: a cloud for MyCloud, a phone or tablet for a copy on this device, both when it is in both places, and an up arrow when a MyCloud draft has changes still to push. Tap the active tab for a sheet that spells it out and offers to save a copy here or add the draft to MyCloud. * **Browse Drafts shows when a draft was last saved**, as "today 12:45 PM", "yesterday 8:48 PM", or the date, and MyCloud drafts now carry their real last-saved time instead of the day they were first uploaded, so the draft you just saved sits at the top. * **Copying picks from a tie-up draft and pasting them into a liftplan draft now works**: each pick becomes the shafts its treadle lifted in the source draft. The reverse paste turns lift rows into multi-treadle presses. * **View Cloth honors a sinking-shed draft** for the first time on mobile, and satin blocks and turned twills no longer auto-detect as doubleweave. ### Languages * **Swedish** and **Danish** in desktop (mobile on next release). We would love to have Weavers report incorrect translations to us! * **Ukrainian.** Translated by Sergiy Prylepko. Choose it in Settings; corrections from his review will follow in a later update. * More of Browse Drafts is translated: the On Device and Cloud badges, the modified and updated lines, the counts, and Tie-Up or Liftplan. ### Fixes * Under certain conditions, closing a draft tab and choosing Save started the save and closed the tab underneath it, so the write failed silently and nothing reached MyCloud. The save now finishes before the tab closes, and a draft that has never been saved stays open until it has been named. * **Android ignored the language you chose.** The app read the setting before it had loaded, so it always came up in the device language. Fixed. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.919.1 ### Updates to fix issues with Unsaved work * **Your work now survives the phone closing the app without manually saving.** iPhones, iPads, and Android devices quietly close apps in the background when they need memory or space, and a very full phone does it constantly. A draft with unsaved changes is now kept as a recovery copy a few seconds after each edit and the moment you switch away, and the next time TempoWeave opens it comes back as an unsaved tab, ready to save. Saving or closing the draft removes the copy. Thanks to our beta testers on this one! ### Drawdown * **Zoom buttons.** Zoom In, Zoom Out, and Fit to Window in the View chip on every device, and a − / + pair in the tablet top bar, for the sessions where a pinch isn't available: the app on a Mac, a mouse on Android, or hands that can't pinch. Button zoom keeps the middle of the view in place. * **Tapping Zoom Out repeatedly no longer snaps the draft to full size.** Two quick taps on the − button were being read as a double-tap on the draft, which resets the zoom. Only a double-tap on the draft itself does that now. * **Edit Threading and Edit Treadling: a tap on a filled cell clears it every time.** A tap that wobbled a few pixels into the neighboring cell was being read as a drag, and since a drag only ever fills, tapping a black square sometimes did nothing. A gesture now stays a tap until the finger has moved a real distance. From a TestFlight tester. * **Color Repeats: Apply To follows Load Warp and Load Weft.** ### Project * **Rising / Sinking shed.** The Project chip gains the setting the desktop has had all along, per draft and saved in the file. A sinking-shed draft now shows the face-up side of the cloth, and the tie-up's Shed style switches from O to X. New drafts follow the app's default. * **Convert Shed** on the Project chip rewrites the draft for the other kind of loom and switches Rising / Sinking to match; multi-treadle drafts get one treadle per lift first so the conversion is exact. ### Palette * **Yards per pound is editable from the palette.** Edit Yarn shows the yarn's length per weight and unit, prefilled from the Yarn Catalog when the yarn line matches; type a value to record or override it for the draft. Project Info's yarn weight estimate uses it. ### Weave Assistant * **The Treadles card is sized to fit, and you can resize it.** Large mode used to fill the whole screen with one fixed size, which on an iPad mini hid the cloth and still did not fit. The card now only covers what it needs, Large picks a size that fits your screen, and a pinch on the card, or its − and + buttons, adjusts everything in it. Your size is remembered on this device. A grip on the card's edge sets its width. * **The cloth preview honors the draft's shed.** Settings gains a Project group with Rising / Sinking Shed (the Project chip's setting), and Options gains Face Up / Face Down: which face of the cloth the preview shows. Face Down inverts the yarn on top of each cell and mirrors nothing. ### View Fabric * **As woven.** A checkbox that turns the picture so the first pick is at the bottom, the way the cloth grows on the loom. Stays on once checked. * **Imperial / Metric ruler selector.** The rulers open in your project's unit system, and a selector next to the view options switches them for this viewing, as on desktop. The size readout follows the same choice. ### Cloud * **A draft opened from a share code is treated as the cloud draft it is**: your own draft gets the cloud update on Save, and someone else's shows the read-only notice and saves a local copy to your library instead of quietly writing the cache. * **Open Shared Draft puts the cursor in the code box**, so you can paste the moment it opens. * **Share links can have a lifetime, and you can revoke them.** Choose Never, 7 days, or 30 days when you share; a Revoke links button in My Cloud Patterns stops every link for a draft. Opening an expired or revoked link shows a clear message. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.906.1 ### Edit Threading and Edit Treadling, rebuilt for fingers * Both editors now share one layout: a big grid, the color strip, thread or pick numbers, and a **dedicated scroll lane** that is the only place a drag scrolls. Anywhere on the grid, a drag draws. No more stray marks from a scroll, and no more pans from a stroke. * **Undo and Redo** in both editors. * **All the drawing tools** — Free Draw, Straight Draw, Point Draw, Line, and Eraser — in the editor header, and Free Draw follows your finger on both axes so a diagonal is one stroke. * **Zoom in and out** in both editors; rotating the device re-fits the grid; 16-shaft and wider drafts keep their scroll lane on screen in landscape. * A **tool head marker** rides with your finger so you can see the cell you are acting on. It sits right at the contact point for a stylus or mouse. * Multi-treadle mode is honored in Edit Treadling. ### One drawing rule everywhere * **Tap a marked cell to clear it**: the one-tap fix for an errant pick or end, with any tool, in the main view and both editors, including the tie-up and liftplan. * **A drag only ever fills.** A stroke that starts on a filled cell paints forward instead of wiping out everything it crosses. * The **Eraser** is the bulk tool: tap or drag to clear a swath. It is now on the main pencil menu too. ### Fixes from the beta group * Liftplan touches were landing on the mirrored shaft; they now land where you tap. * Strokes follow the finger with no gaps, on both axes. * Zoom no longer jumps to full size in the middle of drawing (two quick taps on neighboring cells were being read as a double-tap). * The **pencil button**: while editing, one tap drops to read-only so scrolling can't leave marks; from read-only, a tap opens the tool list. ### Selection and menus * Select All Warp and Select All Weft replace the current selection instead of adding to it; **Unselect All** added. * Clear Selection and Delete Selection ask before touching more than 20 threads or picks. * Menu actions close the panel as soon as you tap them. ### Weaving & Threading progress * **Thread Assistant and Weave Assistant save your progress as you go.** Every marked thread and every pick advance is written into the draft a moment later, and again when you close the assistant or switch away from the app. Before this, marks were saved only every tenth mark or on closing the assistant, and pick progress only on a normal Save, so setting the tablet down mid-session could lose the day's place. * **Opening a draft from MyCloud keeps your loom progress.** The fresh download carries forward the threading marks and Weave Assistant place recorded on this device, as long as the cloud draft itself hasn't changed since. Before, the download replaced the local copy and the marks with it. * **Closing an assistant with Save updates your MyCloud copy in the same step** when the draft came from the cloud — no second "Update cloud version?" question. The conflict and read-only checks still apply. * **No connection when you save a cloud draft?** A clear notice says the draft is saved on the device but MyCloud wasn't updated, and an amber banner offers **Update MyCloud** until a push succeeds. The reminder survives closing and reopening the draft. ### View Fabric * **Non-block Doubleweave (BETA)**: a new option beside Block Doubleweave for two-layer cloth whose layers exchange or join thread by thread rather than in blocks. The layers are read from the draft's structure; areas woven as one cloth stay plain. On by default when recognized, always available by hand. ### TempoTreadle and updates * Disconnect from a TempoTreadle can no longer freeze grayed out. * The update notice re-checks when you return to the app, and About gains a **Check for Updates** button. * iOS: landscape scrolling near the bottom edge no longer triggers the app switcher. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.830.1 ### Cloud parity with desktop * A cloud draft reopened from your library still knows it is a cloud draft: Save keeps offering to update the cloud version, and the link survives app restarts and travels with the file between devices. * Tags edited on the tablet reach the cloud for filtering everywhere, and the cross-device stale-overwrite protections match desktop. * Browse shows a labeled Last Updated date. ### Cloth Type and faced cloth * New **Cloth Type** control (Project menu): declare Normal, Warp Faced, or Weft Faced — it saves with the draft, and View Fabric renders it honestly on both platforms. * View Fabric gains **Warp-faced and Weft-faced preview checkboxes** and **Thick Covers Thin**, matching desktop. * Rigid (dowel) yarns render straight with the other threads wrapping around them in the 3D view. ### Also * Full variegation editor parity, including the new Painted type with tape-measure segment lengths. * Yarn color strips show the full colorway when thread offset is 0. *** ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.823.1 ### Print / PDF works now — for real **Print / PDF is rebuilt from the ground up** and verified on both iPhone and Android. Pick your paper, views, and options, and the PDF saves wherever you point it. ### Weave Assistant: tap to advance The treadle overlay is now one big Next button: **tap anywhere on it to advance a pick** — no hunting for the button with a shuttle in your hand. Dragging still repositions the overlay, and the close button still closes. If you prefer the old behavior, turn it off under View. The Next button itself is bigger too. ### Editing fixes * Deleting several selected weft picks at once no longer crashes the app. * **Clear Selection now clears the threads** (keeping the picks and threads in place) instead of just dropping the selection — matching desktop. * Marking a draft multi-treadle persists through save, same as desktop. ### Clearer licensing Tapping a feature your license tier does not include now shows a clear dialog with an Unlock or Sign In button — instead of quietly doing nothing. ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.803.1 Covers the Android and iOS apps since 26.726.1 (iOS launched in between — welcome, App Store weavers). ### Color tools arrive on mobile The Yarns panel grows the desktop's color toolkit, all touch-friendly and undoable: * **Color Swap** and **Color Exchange** — replace one color everywhere, or trade two. (Core and above, as on desktop.) * **Color Repeats** — build a stripe recipe (tap colors, set counts, or seed it from the current warp/weft) and apply it across warp or weft. (Pro, as on desktop.) * **Color Pattern Draw** — define a color sequence once, then paint the color strips and watch the colors cycle as you go. (Pro, as on desktop.) * **Save Palette to My Yarns** — keep the current draft's palette as a reusable, shareable yarn line. * **Sort Palette** — original, hue, lightness, color family, or warm-to-cool ordering for the palette strip. * The **new 57-color default palette** from desktop is the mobile default too. ### One license, every platform Mobile now honors the same Lite / Core / Pro tiers as TempoWeave Studio: signing in with your license unlocks exactly the features your tier includes, on every platform. The free app remains a full design playground — drawing, browsing, assistants, and TempoTreadle all work without an account. See the updated Your Account and What Unlocks guide for the feature table. ### Thread Assistant * **Threading progress saves itself** — every ten marks and when the assistant closes. Swiping the app away no longer loses your place at the loom. * **Floating selvedges display as "FS"** — no heddle, sley through the reed only. * **Shaft-1 taps land on shaft 1** — editing threading on a phone no longer jumps the view when you touch near the bottom edge. ### Also * **Open Fiberworks .dtx and WeavePoint .wpo files** from the file picker or Browse Drafts, with thumbnails. * **Paint All Warp / Paint All Weft** in the Yarns panel — flood a whole axis with the active color in one tap, including the colors new threads inherit. * **Repeat Counter in the Weave Assistant** — same as desktop: counts true end-to-start wraps of the piece or marked section, editable, shown as "Repeats: N" in the header. * **Android remembers its orientation across screen-off.** A tablet lying flat at the loom used to wake in portrait until you picked it up; it now wakes exactly as it slept. * **Update notices.** When a newer TempoWeave is in your app store, a small banner offers to take you there. Dismiss it and it stays gone until something newer ships. * **iOS: unlock in the app.** TempoWeave on iOS offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the Lite tier on your mobile devices; the unlock follows your email across devices, and Restore Purchases works after reinstalls. Licenses from tempoweave.com unlock their full tier on every platform by signing in. ## TempoWeave Mobile v26.726.1 The first TempoWeave Mobile release with its own notes. Everything below applies to the Android and iOS apps; it covers all changes since 26.711.1. ### Highlights * **Major battery fix.** The app no longer keeps rendering in the background while you look at an open draft — idle processor use dropped to near zero. Devices run cooler and batteries last dramatically longer during long design or weaving sessions. * **The menus now match TempoWeave Studio.** The Design panel groups its edit operations the way desktop does (Tie-Up, Warp, Weft), Tromp as Writ lives on Tools, and a new Help panel after View links the TempoWeave Mobile Guide, Feedback and Support, and About. What you learn in one app now carries to the other. ### New Features * **Tie-Up Diagonal** with the full desktop option set: start treadle, step, treadles per cycle, stop treadle, and downward stepping. The defaults give the classic step-of-one diagonal from treadle 1 in a single tap. (Thanks, Dawne.) * **Tromp as Writ options.** Choose structure only, structure and color, or color only — the same three choices as desktop — instead of the previous fixed behavior. * **Shift cards for warp, weft, and tie-up.** Four arrow buttons shift the whole warp, weft, or tie-up one step per tap, with optional wrap-around. Colors and thickness travel with the threads. * **Invert and Rotate** for warp and weft, joining Clear, Reverse, and Mirror. * **Select All Warp, Select All Weft, and Cut Selection** on the Home panel. * **Lock Draft.** Protect a finished design from accidental edits — locked drafts open locked on every platform, and unlocking asks for confirmation. On mobile, Save still works on a locked draft (edits are blocked at the source), preserving things like weaving progress. * **Messages from LoftyFiber.** The bell on the toolbar shows news and update announcements with an unread badge, matching desktop. * **Repeat to Fill in View Fabric.** Tile your cloth seamlessly to fill the screen at any zoom — see yardage, not just one repeat. (Thanks, Russell.) * **Report button** for public cloud patterns. * **Doubleweave construction type** can be designated in Project Info - Cloth Construction; View Fabric starts with the Double Weave checkbox on for designated drafts. (#325) ### Bug Fixes * **Yarn Catalog selection works the way it looks.** Tapping a checkbox now selects reliably, and checking a yarn line checks every color under it — drill in and see exactly what Copy to Palette will copy. * **Project Info no longer clips Cloth Construction** at the bottom of the dialog.
