# Welcome to TempoWeave Mobile

A short tour of the things you'll do in the first fifteen minutes. For deeper topics, see the full guides at [docs.tempoweave.com](https://docs.tempoweave.com).

### What TempoWeave Mobile is

TempoWeave Mobile is the iPad, iPhone, and Android tablet companion to TempoWeave Studio. It opens the same `.twa` and `.wif` files as the desktop version, drives the same TempoTreadle device, and shares to the same cloud library — but pared down for at-the-loom use rather than heavy draft authoring.

The two things you'll do most:

1. **Read and edit drafts** at the loom — adjust colors, tweak section markers, advance picks by hand.
2. **Weave hands-free** with a TempoTreadle 3 System Unit— the device monitors the loom and advances the on-screen pattern as you treadle.

**Important:** *Most of the documentation for our Mobile Apps are in our TempoWeave Studio doc site (link at top). The documents found here are those that vary drastically or, at least enough to have their own treatment.  Those documents are in the left navigator here.*

**Important:** If you already own TempoWeave Studio (any version) you DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE a mobile license.  The IOS App Store does offer you the ability to buy TempoWeave Mobile license.  However, it's a better deal if you buy a desktop version (even the Lite version) because that way you will have access to both Desktop and Mobile Apps.  We offer you an In-App purchase in the Apple App Store becuase it was a requirement from Apple.  The Android store does not have an In-App purchase, you simply use your Desktop license.
