# Edit - Copy and Paste

The **Copy** function places the selection into the copy buffer, ready to be pasted.  Selected warp threads, weft or tie-up may be copied.  &#x20;

The keyboard shortcuts **Ctrl+C** | **⌘C** may also be used for the copy function.

Once copied, the **Paste** function may be used to copy the selection based on the current cursor position. &#x20;

To control whether or not the Color and Thickness are copied and pasted, use the settings on **Sync Operations** on the Home menu.
