File New

Starting a New Draft

File New opens a new weaving design window using the number of shafts, treadles (or liftplan) as defined in Settings (app defaults & options)

The number of shafts, treadles, tie-up or liftplan and view options may be changed in the Project Menu Project Setup

The File New function is also available on the Home Menu, and has a keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+N / ⌘N
