Showing Shafts and Treadles as Numbers or Blocks - Hiding Warp

Entries for the shafts in the warp, treadles and tie-up can be set to numbers of blocks.

Blocks in the warp and weft can be either black (choose block) or the color of the warp or weft thread (choose color).

The tie-up can be a block or numeric, depending on the check box, "Numeric TieUp" on the view option below.

Numeric tie-up, warp, and weft choices cause numbers for the shafts and treadles to show on the design screen instead of black rectangles. Options to include color blocks are available for warp and weft. Changing these on the View Screen are temporary for the current session; to permanently change the style of showing numbers, blocks, or colors, see Default Settings - Loom under Grid / Layout.

These choices also impact how the Print function shows the entries (as numbers or blocks).

At zoom level 7 and lower, the numbers no longer show for warp and weft even if the numeric selection is clicked. Tie-up can no longer show numbers at zoom level 9.

Hiding Warp Entirely for Editing

To hide the threading entirely, unclick the Visible box in Warp Style. This can be useful when working on the treadling in a draft with a large number of shafts.
